I have been doing this “I’m-on-sabbatical” thing since mid-August. I go home (“back to normal”) on December 19. While I am excited to be back in my own home, I am not ready for all of the “not-on-sabbatical” stuff that will go along with being home again.

I visited Pennsylvania for the first time last week. In fact, this was the first time had been anywhere with the kind of fall foliage I have seen in photos of New England and other “autumny” places. ‘Twas beautiful!
